Mawland managed the upgrade of 15 beachside bungalows, bar and restaurant to enhance the Erakor Island Resort in Vanuatu. This involved working with and training local labour and empowering management to operate the improved facilities.The result was a relaxed, intimate and authentically Pacific-island environment.

The Resort is closely linked with the neighbouring village that not only provides most of the staff but several cultural tours of their village.
